Lake Winnebago

I’m looking to drive up and wader fish the west shore black wolf area. Any give a current ice conditions along west shore Near Wendts and north? Thanks!

Took a drive yesterday afternoon. Saw 6-7 hubs out from Neenah Rec Park not too far off shore. Half a mile north of that, two guys fishing open water at the lighthouse. Crazy year....

East shore is opened up by fisherman's road.

Has anyone been off black wolf wondering how much ice is out there?

Hammered em' today. Swedish pimple, silver, with a head caught most. Ice won't last long. Northwest side.

Snuck out on lake Winnebago for one last hurrah to more than likely end our ice season. Sucks it was such a crappy year for ice but that should make this spring/ summer that much better.

Lots of Sturgeon pop ups near Lakeside park majority of them are Eskimo brand. Because of the ice who would have thought you would ever see pop ups for Sturgeon spearing? Betcha Fleet went through a lot in the last couple of weeks and they went on sale just before Whoops.

Menomonee park today

Im on Point Comfort. We rented a house on the water for the Battle. I have open water right in front of the house. About 1/2 mile south, there are a bunch of guys out. They are everywhere and on machines!! Been watching with the binoculars. Havent seen much catching, but I cant see it all.

Coming up this afternoon to hopefully do some ice fishing the next few days. I have a house on the west side of the lake by Millers Bay. Just wondering if the bays are still safe for fishing!! TYIA
