Partly Sunny 24°
Ice: 10"
Got back out today on West side, ice was about 10". That's an estimate, I didn't measure it. Perch were active early, then a lull, and another batch came thru. Fished til 1:30, last fish was at 11:30. Ended up with 14, most were nice size. 11' of water, couple feet off bottom. Small gold Kastmaster, and dead stick with Rosey Reds, about 1/2 on each.

Got out for the first time this year, fished on one of the west side bays . Got some nice Perch, biggest were a little over 10", and 1 burbot. I took the advice from the C.B. video the other day , jigged small gold spoon and dead stick with Rosie Reds. Had about 10".

Going to be making my first ice fishing trip to Lake Winnebago this winter. Mostly been going to Lake Kegonsa the past few years but haven't had much luck there.   I've heard a lot of different opinions on where some good spots are.  I've hear good things about asylum bay and the Oshkosh reefs south of Oshkosh are good.  Any thoughts? Thanks in advance!

Finally got out on Bago yesterday for the first time this year and it did not disappoint! This cold snap is building ice rapidly and should build a good base despite next weeks short term warm up. Rosy red minnows on dead stick and jigging small spoons tipped with minnowhead/ red spikes did the trick.
Enjoy the video!!
