Fished with Eric Sunday morning for a few walleyes and crappies. First couple hours we caught a few short walleye’s 2 keepers and about 7 bass. Moved on to crappies and we caught around 35 and kept 22 nice ones with a few over 13” thanks Eric it was fun. This week temperatures in the 50 to 65 degree I’ll take a few more days if anyone wants to catch some fish.

Today was a family fishing day for Tim, Jean, and Walker.
The wind tried to blow us off the water.  Be careful  water going  up stumps r waiting  for boat motor s , sample  jigging  a minnow , chasing  schools ,But it didn't stop these 3. Tim caught a monster crappie  just shy of 16". The largest one this year I've seen. They were able to take home enough fish for a few fish fries and were able to throw a bunch back
Thank you all for choosing Dave Joswiak's Guide Service.

Doug and I went out and rocked the lake today. It started out so foggie to the point we couldn't see the shore.casting into schools  pick a few out than move on , still in that 10 to 12' of water ,But we were still able to find the fish quick. It was a great day of fishing. Thanks Doug! Great weather  coming  up call for openings

Had Chuck in the boat today and Doug and Kim yesterday. Monday was windy and the crappies bit like crazy. Roger and Kim did great yesterday with slip bobbers and minnows they only wanted 15 good ones and it didn’t take but an hour or so to get most of them the rest we released straight away. Chuck we worked for them today with on wind. Caught a lot of small ones today and all most none yesterday what a difference the wind makes in catching these crappies. All fish came on jig and minnows, walleyes in river channels and crappies in the 12 foot of water. Thanks everyone you all did great.  I have the 20th  through the 23rd open.

It was a pleasure taking Ian out fishing today. He really enjoyed how fast the fish were hitting the boat floor. It was unreal how many crappies we had caught and threw back , simple  bobber  and and minnows  drifting   12'   if u can handle  a little  cooler weather  crappies  r beautiful  , Again, thank you, Ian, for a great day.

Was Bruce and Richard in the boat yesterday. Caught a bunch of walleye’s in the morning but only 2 keepers. Crappies started out slow with jig and minnows, only about 10 in the first hour. Was never going to get to 50 that way so on to slip bobbers. We moved from school to school only fishing about 10 minutes before I no longer could see them on live scope then on to the next school. We ended up catching 50 big crappies and keeping 25 the rest were released awesome day guys and lots of fun. I’ll take a few more days before I’m done.
