Winneconne Bridge

Bridge piers on both sides, looking at camera at 2:45 am in the morning, is elbow to elbow !
Saw fisherman netting a fish about every 5-10 minutes on the Bridge camera ! Looks to be White Bass ! Come and get Em ! Bring your own minnows , there might be a shortage ! And a  very long handled net if your fishing off the Bridge piers ! <(((< <((((< <((((< 

Had to work hard, but got our walleye limit Wednesday afternoon. Lots of boats till dark. I'm sure it will get even better in the next week or two!

I fished the east pier yesterday from about 12:30 pm til 12:30 am.  It took that long to get my three fish limit.  I did catch eight small walleye that I threw back.  This year is shaping up to be like last year with no real “run”. Because of the high water way upstream the walleye are staying up there much longer and not releasing in larger pods as years when the water is lower.  Of course, this will lengthen the season but in the mean time be prepared to put in the time to get your limit.

Fished Saturday night for the 1st time in less than ideal conditions,  but ended up catching 3 walleye and losing 1. Saw quite a few being caught in the 2 hours I was there. 
Wanted to give a shout out to Greg and another fisherman whose name I didn't get. Thanks so much guys. We wouldn't have been nearly as successful without your tips. 
Was wondering if anyone would be willing to give me some dimensions of the rod holders that are used on the bridge, I'd like to make some.

Lots of fish leaving the marshes around SHIOCTON so your estimate is correct.

I doubt it. Weather is just nice and people wanna get out on a nice day and I don’t blame them. It’s a bit early. I fished the last couple days in Winniconnie marked hardly any fish and caught nothing but catfish and some perch nobody is catching much other than a sun tan. I’d guess mid next week we will start to see fish start to come through.

8:00 PM and the Pier resort side is filled.......I'm guessing the run down is on.

Starting to see people on the fishing pier last night. A couple of boats out this morning too.  We're starting in New London tomorrow and we'll probably end up here if the water is too high and/or the fish aren't cooperating.

Google " Wolf River Resort Winniconni", click on the website, select menu bar, scroll to bottom and click on " Bridge Cam". I just looked and there's nobody fishing. You'll know when the fish are there when you see boats and fishermen on the bridge.
