Fox River DePere - Voyager

Just drove over the 172 bridge and the river is 90 percent open if that helps . And one die hard with his boat out in the rain and wind 

Does anyone have a picture of the river or the voyager park launch

Ran into Troy walleye mafia at fleet farm today he said he got a lane open at the launch this afternoon!

As of this afternoon, one lane of the launch at Fox Point is open. Have fun and be safe! Capt Jerry

Guys are out there now opening the Fox Point launch.

Drove over 172 this morning. Middle of the river is wide open north/south of the bridge.

Just came back from down there.  A few crazy people are out on the ice but it is disappearing fast. The 46 degree weather today is taking a toll on the ice. A few whitefish caught from shore. At least a dozen guys out casting.

How’s the river holding up? Anybody got a report? TIA! 

Looking at fishing a little north of Voyager Park Saturday morning (11th), was wondering how ice conditions are Friday afternoon, thanks in advance.

I would call them something other than, brave souls!

Just drove over 172 bridge . There is a mixture of open water and ice . Open water is in the middle . There are 2 brave souls fishing now . One further down towards Voyager and one near the middle not to far from the open water .. 

is it going to open for boats this weekend? How is it looking after the warm and storm? 

As warm temperatures and rain continue to hamper ice fishing, it's triggered thoughts of huge pre-spawn walleyes! Sometime within the next several weeks we will have the boats back in the water, with daytime jigging and casting for walleyes dominating the scene.  I have full day and half day openings starting March 20 for trips here and on the Bay.  Message me here or email me at [email protected] for questions and to book your shot at a personal best walleye! I’d be fine with ice as well. Just trying to plan for the weekend. Feels like we will be stuck in between safe ice and open water for the boat
