Drove around to check some different spots. Two guys were at Stroebe, and no one at the Menasha Locks or by the Neenah Slough. The latter two looked really sketchy.

Saw the comments about blue perch.  Correct.  It isn’t disease or pollution related.  It is genetic.  Can see it in walleyes too.  There are some lakes in Ontario with large populations of blue walleyes.

@litguy49…
Cat’s on LLBDM are tough mid summer. They’re spread all over the place.  I usually don’t target them until late September though October when they start to school up. Bottom rigs in deep water, circle hooks and frozen shrimp or cutbait works great for us. 12-15 lb cats are very common to catch in the fall as well.

Tough fishing on LLB this July AM. Water level is low. Real hit or miss out there! Just moved near LLB, and tryin' to figure it out. I target channel cats (wrangled a couple of big channel cats this summer!) but I'm looking for some consistency...

Any tips to get me back in the cattin' game? I LIKE this body of water on the Fox River system, but just strugglin' right now! :-(

Thanks!

Ralph
