Be careful on big side of Gerber lake most areas walked and checked had safe ice over 6 inches but when I took spud bar to check ice by opening between big side of Gerber lake and small side ice cracked but didn't leave big crack

Went 50 ft out from shore and ice has 6 inches of ice didn't drill hole to find out but from what was told and from taking spid bar to ice know safe that far on small side
