Yellowstone Lake

Just wondering if anyone has a report on water clarity in the last week or so.

I see a lot of posts about carp and catfish, but how is the northern pike/bass fishing on Yellowstone?

Fished Saturday with my brother using red worms and grubs ( butterworm) . Caught a couple small red ears. Sunday switched to crappie minnows and we caught 2 keeper cats and 6 crappie. Missed a lot more. 
I need to start trapping my own minnows as they are 3.50 a dozen.To be fair I bought 2 dozen he gave me at least 4 so it was reasonable.

And so the carp spawn begins....

I fished this lake in May. We love the driftless region of wisconsin, it’s beautiful. I was hoping for clear water and would have been happy with some medium sized pan fish to throw back. More of a camping trip for wife’s birthday than fishing trip for me. Water looked like someone dumped the honey wagon at lake inlet. Caught 2 ugly sheepshead, 6-9” maybe it’s better in the middle of the lake? 

Crappie bite is on..
