Fished from 6am-10am this morning in 6-8 fow. 2 flags...1 dropped in the weeds and 1 14 inch bass caught. Nothing jigging.

Cool seeing those cats in there. Hopefully you let them go as big channels are not good table fare and great for a pond ecosystem. Best small bluegill patrol we have in are pond. They do more to prevent bluegill stunting then bass or pike by a long shot!!

Last two afternoons out. Fishing 9 ft water. 79f water. First day 31 inch catfish. 19 lbs. caught on sucker. Wife pulled in 27 inch pike. That was it. Second time out pulled in a 35 inch 21lb catfish. Also on sucker. Two small pike. I have been fishing this lake for fifteen years and previously caught one other catfish. Released both

I was just on Storrs today. Ice was a good 6 inches or so. Back in the southeast bay there were spots with a thin layer of ice and a couple inches of slush underneath, otherwise it seemed pretty solid.
