Cedar Lake

Sunnies everywhere. Deeper off weed lines has bigger ones. Tough to get a crawler through them. Only one small walleye today. Talked with some people who found crappies earlier. But sunnies everywhere.

Has anyone done well on Walleyes on this lake? I recently moved to the area and was considering trying this lake. Also are the gills and crappies of any size? Thanks for any info and I will be sure to share a report when I go. 

Fished yesterday morining. Lots of sunnies getting ready to spawn on and in the weeds. Some are nice size. Guys were catching crappies, even a couple on shore getting them w slip bobber. I just fished walleyes with crawlers. Caught a few but outside the slot. 
Just a heads up...lots of dead fish pushed to north side by the wind. I mean dozens of sunnies and crappies. North launch really putrid. Dont know what's up with the dead fish, some look fresh. If south winds continue it will be really bad.

1st time out with boat this year. Cold water, nothing over 47. Fished southwest bay and did nada. Worked cribs all over south to north. Got 10 crappies to keep and several small. Nothng over 10 inches, but nice mess of fish. Plastics worked really slow over cribs. Not every crib has fish...nice day. Tons of pelicans, mergansers, etc.
