Explored some areas of the Fox we had not tried yet, was very cool. Had to pull up a map on my phone to figure out exactly where we were at lol!
It was variety day today. LM Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Kitties, Rockies, Gills, Drum, and carp.
So much fun! Crawler halves were the ticket.
2nd trip this year without an eye! We had been doing well on eyes, but they've gone into hiding!

Thank you Bullman!
If you could please, post the banquet date on this thread a few months prior!
I'm betting we can make this year even bigger than last year. The stocking that Pishtaka does positively impacts the Fox from after the Waukesha dam all the way to the Rochester dam! Lots of folks enjoy the river between the two and would love to support!
Thank you!

Brent,
We release approx. 2000 extended growth walleyes that are released in Rochester at the park as well as the Tichigan public boat launch on the Fox by the bridge. (Bridge Drive) Thanks once again for the support of those that were able to attend the banquet in April. It makes a big difference. For those that didn't attend this year, the banquet sold out in approx. one week. The best turnout we have had. Thanks to all those that post here as this stretch of the river is considered to be the best fishing in SE Wisconsin per the reginal fish biologist.

2nd trip of the year with no eyes.
Did catch kitties, Rockies, Gills, Smallies, and LM Bass.
Perch have been hiding this year so far.
It was a bit slower today than the last couple of outings, but did manage to tap into the third dozen of crawlers. Fished from 7:45 to 2:30ish.
Bobbers and Carolina rigs tipped with half a crawler.
A red bead resting on top of the hook made a positive difference. I'd say 75% of the fish came on the pole with the red bead!

Not 100 percent certain on that a Carpio.
I seem to recall 2,000 eyes released at the DNR launch though...
They have a FB page with stocking info I believe, but I'm not on FB...
This is as much as I can see without a FB account..

Above the Waterford Dam Carpio, on your section of river (as well as below the Waterford dam)
Bullman- Very thankful for Pishtaka, they do great stuff!
Thanks to your post earlier this year, lots of folks in our neighborhood were able to support Pishtaka this year - appreciate you letting us know when the banquet was and how to support their stocking efforts.

Brent, and the Pishtaka Wildlife Society has continued adding in walleye to the Rochester and Tichigan stretches of the Fox River. We are also planning on adding more walleye this fall, thanks to the support at the annual banquet. This has been going on for excess of 20 years now. Glad to hear that they are continuing growing.
I wouldn't think so CM...
The Fox is also connected to popular creek, Pewaukee Lake, Phantom Lake, Wind Lake, Muskego Lake, it just goes and goes and goes...
