Summerfest Grounds

About 20 people out on the south end of the lagoon today at lunch time, not sure on ice thickness

For the guys curious about ice conditions on the ice conditions near the mouth of the Milwaukee River, there's a live webcam in the area of the inner harbor boat launch that faces East toward the Hoan Bridge. I don't know how helpful it would be  but just throwing it out there.

Does anyone know the current conditions for the river? I was thinking about drowning some minnows tomorrow morning off the wall. Any info is greatly appreciated. Message me if you prefer and thanks.

Make sure we all congratulate Eric on losing his partnership with Alumacraft because he wanted to target walleyes in a closed area and brag all over social media not realizing the warden was at the launch watching his live videos waiting for him to get back to launch. (Confirmed with alumacraft)

Went today.  Second time in 2 weeks.  Same group of fellas fishing. Mostly browns jigged up right next to the wall on jigs with white plastic.  Early mornings are best.  Pretty much done by 10:30. Lot's of boats where Gillespie fished for his show this weekend.  Didn't see them catch any.    BB

Fishing seemed slow.I DID NOT ICE FISH.
Was a ton of shacks out today though. Talked to a couple guys and they said like 5in of ice.
plenty of open water to shore fish, which is what I did.
