Jefferson Dam ONLY Rock River

Thank you! I just wanted to make sure before I went and kept some. Didn’t know if the game fish season applied to that or not 

The rock is open year round 

I have a question regarding keeping fish. I know the size limit is 18 and you can keep 3 but can you keep them out of that river now? After the first Saturday in March?

Just wanna know if the crappie are up yet

Any fish up by dam yet i just want to go fishing

Anybody know the current water level? Is it High or low? Thanks guys and Have a Happy Thanksgiving. 

Holy beans, your Carp get HUGE this time of year. I fished the Jefferson area quite a bit during the Summer this year. Saw a 6-8 LB average, with very few fish over 15 LB. Fished past three mornings after the Madison Chain bite went completely cold, and saw an average of 12.0 LB, 46 Fish Total on 51 Bites. 15 of them were over 15 LB and 3 were over 20. 553 LB total. Nothing under 7 LB. I've never fished this section of the Rock in Autumn before. I didn't know it supported so many large fish.

There was a couple kids by the small boat launch on riverview dr the other day.  They  were pulling in carp left and right on canned corn on the bottom.  Watched them catch 4 and lose a couple others as I ate lunch across the road in my truck.  

I have had good success at hustisford dam, only 1 carp at watertown riverside park.  Working my way down, I am thinking of trying the jefferson dam area next.  Could someone let me know where is a good spot for catfish/carp?  Riverview Dr and Cty Rd W?

Fished for a hour at the dam today. 2 white bass, 1 sheep, and a 5lb flathead. Nothing else happening. Didn’t see too many other fish caught
