Rock River/ Watertown Area

Hit Bethesda at noon yesterday, four cast two shorts.

Fished a ​Rock River Tributary and found some catfish and walleye that were willing to bite. Most were caught on worms.  I was surprised to find them at high noon, but they were biting. I imagine they're still ​around today (this was from the weekend), but with all the rain coming, conditions will definitely change.

This Saturday the Rock River Rescue will stock fish at the Division Street bridge at Riverside Park in Watertown at 9 am. We will stock musky, northern pike, walleye, smallmouth bass, bluegill, and perch. Come on down and lend a hand. 

Saturday, June 3rd the Rock River Rescue is holding our annual "Cash for Carp" tournament at Riverside Park in Watertown. We pay $1 for every carp caught, as well as $25 for the largest and smallest carp of the day. There is no cost to enter, just register before you start fishing. Registration begins at 7 A.M. The tournament ends at 5 P.M. Message me if you have any questions. Come on out and help us thin the population!
