Perch fishing in 80' of water. Nice perch but unfortunately no catch and release at that depth. Bet the crowds will be gathered on that area after seeing the show.

Gobbler you answered your own question. No by all means fish the bay I do. But 10 inches on the bay is not a sure thing, And as far as saying you drive a truck on 10 inches of ice is just wrong anywhere.

Why shouldn't they have been put out ? Conditions changed rapidly, as stated on show wind changed direction which caused current change, etc. This can happen at a blink of an eye, here it all the time on big water. Guess nobody should fish out there then. Give them alot of credit to address as soon as possible.

good I am glad they got all them shacks off. with that being said they should not have been put out in the first place, and at the end of the show Larry says he drives his truck on 10 inches of ice. well now I know even the guides are stupid.

Pretty crazy show on the shanty rescues. It was actually interesting to watch. Harsh conditions on there equipment. Nice to see all the guides come together and help each other out. Kudos to Adam from the coulee region to help out.

It was on Midwest I believe they’re called first strike or fast strike something like that Smith just uses those bite me boxes

Anyone remember the name of the ice rods with the flag and free spool reel used recently on the LS show ?  The more I think about it, it could have been on Midwest Outdoors!

I was troubled by the way the young boy carried his gun.....now maybe it wasn't a real gun I don know but my dad would never have let me carry it that way regardless....
